NUMEN works with physicians, clinicians, and healthcare organizations who need a reliable outpatient partner. Coordination stays clear, timely, and respectful of the people you serve.

Who we partner with

We welcome referrals from primary care, psychiatry, hospitals, intensive programs stepping down, employee assistance programs, and community clinicians.

If your patient or client needs structured outpatient addiction and behavioral health care that fits work and family life, we are built for that handoff.

How referral works

Send clinical context, insurance details when available, and the urgency of the need. Our admissions team responds with next steps, availability, and any clarifying questions.

We aim to reduce friction: one clear contact path, transparent timelines, and confirmation once the person is connected.

  • Share presenting concerns and current level of care
  • Note risk factors, medications, and existing providers
  • Include preferred contact method for the referred person

Coordination after intake

With appropriate authorization, we can update referring providers on engagement, treatment focus, and transitions in care.

We do not replace your relationship with the patient. We extend the continuum so outpatient recovery has structure between higher levels of care and independent living.

What partners can expect

Expect clinical seriousness without unnecessary bureaucracy. Our team values timely callbacks, clean documentation, and collaborative planning when release of information is in place.

If a referral is not the right fit, we will say so and help point toward a better option when we can.

If you are ready to refer, contact admissions with the clinical picture and we will take it from the first conversation through a coordinated start of care.
